Eng. Sunday Adebayo Adeyemo, a B.Sc, M.Sc degrees holder in Chemical Engineering, from the Universities of Ife and Lagos in 1981 and 1986 respectively. M.B.A (Gen. Mgt.) from Univ. of Science & Tech., Port Hatcourt. 

He joined the services of NNPC in September 1982 in Projects and Engineering Division (PED), Lagos

He was involved in the various aspects of the New Port Harcourt Refinery project and was later transferred to the Operations Division of the Refinery upon completion of the project.

His experiences span Project Management, Process Engineering, Advanced Process Control, Computer Application, Process Stimulation and Refinery Process Optimization. He has served in various committees including Refinery Energy Conservation, Total Quality Management & ISO 9000 initiative, Waste Elimination Programmes and Product Pricing Committee.

He is currently a Chief Engineer in the Engineering and Technical Services Department of Port Harcourt Refinery

He is a COREN registered engineer, member of the Nigeria Society of Chemical Engineers (MNSChE), Computer Association of Nigeria and Instrument Society of America (ISA)

His hobbies include, reading, jogging and chess playing.
